NISSIN FOODS HOLDINGS Annual Report 2018

In order to mark the 60th anniversary of the invention of Japanese instant noodles, NISSIN FOODS celebrates its contribution to food culture in the 2018 annual report. As a metaphor for cul-tural influence, the design concept utilises the illustration style of ukiyo-e woodblock prints, which inspired the Impressionists. The cover unfolds in a zig-zag manner, revealing richly illustrated topics introducing the report theme. The combination of traditional and contemporary elements conveys Japanese and international flair at the same time. On the inside, readers are surprised by features such as executives illustrated as kabuki actors.
