NR22

The NR22 is a brake calliper that was specially designed for endurance racing. Despite its reduced weight, it boasts a high degree of stiffness to ensure direct brake control. The crossed ribs above the cylinder serve as both a reinforcing element and a hydraulic flow path. The highly polished outer surface protects against heat radiation, ensuring stable braking even at extreme temperatures. The sharp ribs and flowing surfaces of the design reminded the jury of the lines of racing cars. The jury members were also impressed by the successful synthesis of functional engineering and futuristic design.
