Surfaces and materials play a central role in the effect of bathroom objects. NUEVA complements KALDEWEI’s range of washbasin bowls made of a special steel enamel. Produced using a proprietary recipe for generations, this material embodies a fascinating symbiosis of the properties of steel and glass, making the bowls robust, durable and long-lasting. Another goal was to combine the attributes of aesthetic, sustainable and functional design as coherently as possible, but to complement rather than compete with each other. The steel enamel lends the washbasin bowl a luxurious appearance, while it also aestheticises the interior with its balanced proportions. As a rotationally symmetrical object, the bowl is manufactured using a spinning process and then enamelled with the in-house steel enamel formula. In addition to its expressive and clear design, it captivates with its delicately shaped rim. The drain cover is also enamelled and integrated flush into the base surface. For increased ease of use, the washbasin bowl comes with a dirt-repellent protective coating as standard, which additionally supports the high hygiene properties of this washbasin bowl. The linear design in combination with a finely tuned colour concept defines NUEVA as a strong and iconic design object.
