Ode is a magazine all about perfume. Issue 1 explores what kind of images are evoked by fragrances. The aim is to give visual expression to experiences with perfumes and to explore connected associations and inspirations. For this purpose, 33 people were asked to provide statements about their favourite perfume and their personal memory associated with it. Another feature focuses on the visual depiction of scents; with thirteen photographers, each creating an image for a blind perfume sample. The magazine’s visual content is complemented by several essays.
