Unlike many other three-door versions of existing compact hatches, the Astra GTC is a stand-alone model within the product family. The sporty coupé evinces an impressive design with its precise accents, dynamic lines and athletic proportions. As such, it continues the Opel design language of sculptural artistry meeting German precision.

Statement by the Jury

The Astra GTC impressed the jury with its distinctive and sporty formal language. A particularly striking feature is the panoramic windscreen (without cross-member), which allows for a nearly unlimited field of vision for all passengers.
