The advanced design of the OPERA ESSENTIAL reduces the weight of the business class aircraft seat by 30 per cent and saves on cables. It also lowers the number of components and thus minimises maintenance costs. Recycled materials are used in the production process. The autonomous seats respond to the passenger’s movements. Other features include thermoplastic seat shells and an energy-efficient BYOD solution based on an integrated portable electronic device holder and smart connectivity.
