Against the backdrop of recent developments in the entertainment industry, Warner Music Group (WMG) felt they were losing a grip on deeper insights into their artists, music and overall performance. Therefore, the aim was to transform the data they own into useful, decision-supporting information. Through an extensive discovery and definition phase, a strategy and a roadmap were defined, and OPUS was born: a multidimensional digital ecosystem that allows artist managers, label managers, WMG executives and artists to understand their performance data, from a high-level perspective to the tiniest speck of information.
