The new Glashütte manufactory watch is characterised by the patented NOMOS “long-distance date,” which is very legible from a distance despite its fine typography. Since the date indicator’s mechanism is wrapped around the movement, the Orion remained unusually flat – and is thus very elegant in a contemporary way. This impression is greatly supported by the convex sapphire crystals on both sides of the watch, the polished stainless steel, and the silver-plated dial.
