“The Palette grill pan was specially developed for use on gas cookers. Its design is inspired by the traditional tile pattern and octagonal shape of Korean tile-roofed houses. The design also has a practical function: the radially arranged ribs conduct the heat evenly to all areas of the pan,” the jury explained. Excess grease is channelled under the food into the centre and then discharged through a side outlet, reducing the fat content for healthier meals. The pan has a Teflon, non-stick coating.
