To ensure a calm appearance in the children’s room, its housing uses no buttons or displays – only a light ring gives feedback on the operating status. “The exterior design is as impressive as it is suitable for children,” said the jury. “The device seems to float over the cradle like a friendly cloud.” The motor is controllable via app and provides gentle up and down movements that remind babies of the time in their mother’s womb, yielding a calming effect. Also noteworthy is the fact that the housing is made of a compostable biopolymer.
