Poster Series

Peace

These posters are mainly composed of three groups of Chinese characters, meaning “peace”, “equality” and “freedom”. In view of the fact that life is often anything but peaceful, the project is intended to show an alternative. Each motif comprises interconnected circles as a symbol for individuals who are attached to each other. The harmonious forms spread a balanced mood. Since the spiral structure of the lines is reminiscent of springs, the posters also suggest another interpretation: just like elastic springs, people can withstand tension and remain resilient despite oppression.
