In this decorative mortar and pestle, the design concept follows the aim of facilitating the preparation of fresh dishes. Accordingly, it is possible, among other things, to mix pesto, crush garlic or pestle herbs. The registered design creates a nature-inspired aesthetics: the pestle is shaped like a branch, while the mortar together with the silicone ring resembles a wooden trough.
Statement by the Jury
In Pesta, the combination of a wooden mortar and a porcelain pestle turns out to be surprisingly robust and elegant.
