Thanks to its compact shape, the PF3 automated guided vehicle moves easily within the confined space of a factory floor, transporting loads of up to 3 tonnes. User acceptance is improved by the streamlined design, with an LED strip on all sides and a touch panel tilted at 45 degrees. A 360-degree scanner, emergency stop buttons and a collision avoidance sensor ensure safety in an environment where people are working alongside the robot. A drawer concept facilitates maintenance, as individual components can be replaced within minutes. The jury praised the sleek yet ergonomic design of this robotic vehicle.
