Phoenix

Phoenix is inserted into a body cavity with the aid of an endoscope in order to remove foreign bodies such as kidney stones. It consists of a handle, a tube and a small, rotatable six-wire case. The slider on the handle enables sensitive, continuous adjustment of basket size. The device also features a rotating wheel that allows the surgeon to turn the basket around its own axis during the intervention.
