As a convenient, transportable energy storage platform, the Pony 500 is exceptionally small and weighs a mere 3.5 kg. Its robust carrying handle is made of an environmentally friendly nylon material. The mobile device delivers an electrical output of 504 Wh – produced by high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries – making it suitable for use in fields as diverse as agriculture, photography and medicine. Equipped with a fast charging system, the portable energy supply unit can be fully charged within two hours. The jury was particularly impressed with the modular design of this handy power pack, where “energy efficiency meets ease of use”.
