Porsche Design Acer Book RS & Travelpack RS

The ultra-light Porsche Design Acer Book RS, complemented by the Travelpack RS, is the successful result of a cooperation between the computer manufacturer Acer and Porsche Design. Almost to perfection, the laptop and mouse bridge the gap between Ferdinand Alexander Porsche’s design philosophy and Acer’s design approach. The carbon-fibre covers – imbued with a motor sports styling – are a defining feature of all the devices. Featuring a high-quality aluminium alloy frame, the carbon-fibre cover of the laptop is not only visually unique, but also makes the device very light, weighing in at only 1.2 kg. The aluminium frame under the cover conceals an antibacterial-coated seamless touch display with Full HD resolution. A fingerprint sensor is integrated into the touchpad, while the ports are discreetly positioned on the side. The diamond-cut CNC-machined chassis showcases the trademark contours of Acer laptops and turns it into a premium product that combines design and manufacturing quality. In a limited edition, the business and travel notebook comes bundled with a matching pouch as well as the wireless Porsche Design Acer Mouse RS. The design of the laptop is skilfully continued in the design of the computer mouse. With a framed inlay made of genuine carbon fibre, the appearance of the mouse is reminiscent of a classic accelerator pedal. Together, the laptop and mouse are ideal travel companions that not only project a strong visual and haptic appeal, but also impress with their performance.
