The development of this iPad app for the Exclusive & Tequipment department of the car manufacturer Porsche places these words centre stage in order to create an emotionally tangible presentation illustrating the brand’s wide range of individualisation possibilities by Porsche Exclusive and Porsche Tequipment. Using impressive and surprising details, each section of the app invites potential clients to interact with it and thus experience the customisation options in a playful manner. In the “Exclusive” area, for example, customers can scratch and reveal a Porsche crest embossed onto the leather by swiping over the iPad surface or create combinations of multiple individualisation examples via a “one-armed bandit”. By allowing users to place the Porsche in a wind tunnel or marvel at the “before and after” effects, the “Tequipment” section is presented with its numerous accessories for individual retrofitting.
