These posters tangibly communicate this agency’s dedication to its ideas. The use of “blood, sweat and tears” becomes the design “resource”. A blood donation carried out in a hospital, for instance, provides the ink for a poster where blood-filled tubing pens the textual message. For another poster, the designers’ sweat was collected in a sauna and then applied to black fabric using a spray bottle and stencil; the typography thus takes form from the dried salt residue.
