New horizons

The shape and technology of a monitor has a significant impact on how people work with computers. The Pro Display XDR delivers impressive image reproduction and novel application options. Its screen stretches from edge to edge with just a 9 mm border. The aesthetic appeal of the monitor is further defined by a lattice pattern machined into the back cover, as well as the integral design look of the display and stand. The Pro Stand makes every adjustment of the display feel seamless, allowing for easy adaptation in height and tilting angle, as well as rotating into landscape or portrait mode. The large 32" Retina 6K display boasts an image quality with a dynamic range that transforms the workflow for professional users. Significantly improving HDR (High Dynamic Range), the innovative backlighting technology takes brightness, contrast and colour to a new level – XDR (Extreme Dynamic Range). The Pro Display XDR thus extends exceptional image quality to the very edge. To ensure that LEDs along the sides of the display mix well with adjacent ones, a micro-lens array boosts light along the edges. This creates uniform colour and brightness across the entire screen. In addition, the screen is also engineered for extremely low reflectivity. For especially uncontrolled lighting environments there is an innovative matt option with nano-texture glass. This makes the screen maintain contrast while scattering light to reduce glare to a minimum.

Statement by the Jury

The innovative Pro Display XDR with its 32" Retina 6K display provides astoundingly sharp and detailed imagery in a remarkable resolution of 218 ppi. Using advanced LED technology, light shaping and intelligent image processing, the precise backlight control ensures true-to-life imagery. The design with the visually distinctive lattice vent pattern on the back and the elegant base stand perfectly merge technology, form and functionality.
