Prosopagnosia

The identity and personality of a person are usually associated with the face of that person. People who suffer from prosopagnosia lack the ability of normal face processing and thus cannot identify other people by their faces. However, despite this disorder or impairment, these people have otherwise normal intellectual and perceptual abilities. These illustrations depict the void experienced in such a person’s mind through the portrait of a man whose face is nothing but a bunch of coloured patches.
