PZ chair

The design of the PZ chair was influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has created a growing need for medical devices that support easy disinfection. For this purpose, the seat, backrest and armrests result in a continuous, easy-to-clean surface that is moreover resistant to disinfectants. The height of the chair can be adjusted by the practitioner using a lever at the back without having to bend down. Two further levers on the underside serve to unlock the swivel function. These levers can be operated from the right or left, and the unlocking status is evident at a glance.

Statement by the Jury

The PZ chair combines exemplary hygiene and comfort with a design that is very inviting with its gentle curves and compelling elegance.
