QXD1000a is a dashcam whereby the use of materials such as steel and aluminium was avoided in order to produce it relatively cost-effectively. Transparent and apparently metallic design elements nonetheless lend it a high-quality and elegant appearance and pleasant haptics. The dashcam is also available in an Iron Man Edition with distinctive red, partly backlit details inspired by the Marvel Comic of the same name.
Statement by the Jury
Balanced lines and the use of innovative design elements lend the QXD1000a an appearance of high quality. By avoiding the use of metals, it also offers a good cost-benefit ratio.
