Round Deck Bowl is a washbasin for use in small and medium-sized offices and shops, designed to facilitate effective handwashing through its bowl shape. The design was guided by the recommendations of the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare with the aim of creating a pandemic-ready standard for hand-washing basins. The deep Round Deck Bowl is easy and hygienic to use, reducing the risk of splashing water around the bowl. The rectangular outer shape adapts to almost any architecture, the jury explained. The low weight also facilitates transport and installation.
