ROVER Packhopper
The ROVER Packhopper is a sport, fitness, and recreational product invention fully developed by Mako Design + Invent for their client Eric Coffman. It was industrial designed, mechanical engineered, prototyped, and manufactured by Mako Design + Invent, North America’s leading physical consumer product development firm tailored to small business and start-up clients. Made for tennis players and fans everywhere, Eric’s inspiration for the ROVER Packhopper was to create a way to make it easier to carry everything you need to practice and play a great and efficient session of tennis.
The ROVER Packhopper is a specially engineered backpack designed for tennis. In addition to holding 85 tennis balls, it also has a large pocket for two racquets, numerous small pockets for accessories, and mesh pockets for water bottles. The ROVER Packhopper can easily work as a backpack or wheeled around easily around tennis courts and other terrains. With extendable legs, the ROVER Packhopper can raise tennis balls to the exact height from which a plater prefers the tennis balls to be fed.
If you want to watch yourself serve and practice, the ROVER Packhopper is able to holds your phone through a handy compartment and film you while you practice, making it possible to playback and monitor your progress.
