Sassoon Beer

Jack D. Schwager, the Guttenberg Beer Factory’s successor, who comes from the Wurderburg brewery in Frankfurt, created the brand Sassoon in memory of his old friend, the English poet Siegfried Sassoon. The idea for design came from Sassoon’s famous line of poetry: “In me the tiger sniffs the rose.” Thus, a pattern of a tiger with 12 animals from the Chinese zodiac was developed. Together with the roses on top, it demonstrates the famous poetic line. Through the design, the memory of Mr. Sassoon is honoured and the consumer experience is upgraded.
