Human vision is the result of complex psychophysical processes – the human eye can distinguish more than 200 different tones of colour. Equipped with a Foveon sensor, the cameras of the sd Quattro series are able to record all optical information in film quality. Similar to the human eye, they capture subtle colour gradations and can reproduce those colours perfectly. Thanks to the innovative Foveon image quality and based on sophisticated functionality, these cameras can take optimal advantage of SIGMA’s high-performance lens lines and genuine accessories, such as flashgun and battery grip. The sd Quattro features an APS-C size sensor with 39 MP, whereas the sd Quattro H incorporates an APS-H size sensor delivering a resolution of 51 MP. With the aim of meeting both functional and emotional user needs, each and every element of the camera has been optimised for seamless shooting and effective work. All the details, as well as the accessories, follow an outstandingly ergonomic design and rest very well in the hand. The design of the operating elements is also user-friendly.
