In order to meet professional requirements, the SDL 800 was developed in cooperation with public authorities. The torch can easily be operated with gloves and features two intuitive switches which control different functions. The first switch, at the bottom of the lamp, activates a light beam of 800 lumens and, when pressed down longer, a dazzling strobe mode. The second switch dims the luminosity and controls a UV LED, which is used, for instance, for examining documents during identity verification checks.
