Firefighter Glove
SensPro
SensPro is a firefighter glove with integrated electronics and sensor technology. A temperature sensor on the ring finger measures the ambient temperature and an infrared sensor on the back of the glove measures temperatures of distant objects. The result can immediately be recognised on the LED bar, which uses the standard signal colours green, orange and red. The firefighter can thus protect his own life in situations in which he saves others. An ergonomic 3D fit improves sensibility and facilitates putting it on.
Statement by the Jury
The special innovation of this firefighter glove is that, thanks to the integrated electronics and sensors, it improves the perception of dangerously high temperatures and thus improves safety.
