The plastic SL86 heavy-duty container is an alternative to large-volume containers made of metal or wood. It is light yet sturdy, and its dimensions meet the demands of today’s trend towards reduced batch sizes. Its basic dimensions are 80 x 60 cm, with a choice of two different heights. It has a load capacity of 500 kg and a stacking load of 1,500 kg.

Statement by the Jury

This heavy-duty container is at once very light and sturdy, the latter due to its non-deforming, one-piece construction. In addition, its access hatch is convincing since it handles smoothly thanks to synchronised hinges.
