Small-Scale Fermentation Equipment

Small-scale Fermentation Equipment optimises the workflow of various operations involved in the fermentation process: preparing culture dishes, connecting pipelines, setting parameters, inoculating, fermenting, sampling, and cleaning. Its well-organised layout is designed to reduce the size of the device and provide operators with clear, concise operation instructions. The fermentation equipment’s key features include logically divided functional areas, as well as parallel-aligned peristaltic pump and switches for correspondence between the feeding tank, peristaltic pump, and switches. Front status lights assist operators in better monitoring the equipment’s operation status. Color-coded markings on the tank were added to correspond with silk screen labels, allowing operators to navigate the complex pipeline system and perform quick operations. The interfaces are labelled on the side with strip-shaped silk screen markings, directing the operator to the front of the equipment where the interfaces are located. The curved surface silk screen markings also give the operator a wider viewing angle. Overall, the design is sleek, with geometric elements forming the equipment’s basic framework. In addition, the design of the accessory box provides excellent storage for various equipment components, while the open-bottom design facilitates the cleaning of residual waste liquids. The back of the equipment has different areas for different types of interfaces, with the circuit interfaces placed above the fluid interfaces to improve the equipment’s safety performance. Finally, the pipeline connections are optimised to coordinate with the openings on the fermenter's lid, which reduces tangled and complicated pipelines and resulting in clearer and more convenient operations.
