The SmartDock is a multifunctional docking station for the Sony Xperia ion smartphone. It has USB and TV out connectors enabling other devices to be connected, such as a mouse, a keyboard, or HD TV. The slanted profile of the docking station facilitates an ergonomic viewing angle of the docked phone. The silicone surface on the base protects surfaces underneath and provides stability.
Statement by the Jury
The SmartDock convinced the jury with its plain design of a black high-gloss surface, thanks to which the station seamlessly blends with the docked smartphone.
