The Sonos Ray was able to win over the jury as a “small but extremely powerful soundbar.” In terms of design, the sleekness that enables the device to blend seamlessly into its surroundings was particularly impressive: “Its sound is as room-filling as its look is discreetly elegant – nothing distracts from what is happening on the screen.” The device features a forward-facing acoustic layout with a CNC-milled flat grille to keep the audio focused on the user. As a result, the compact Wi-Fi soundbar delivers balanced sound even when placed inside a TV cabinet.
