The packaging of Starbucks China’s ready-to-drink range, launched in 2021, has been relaunched from both an aesthetic and environmental perspective. Starbucks Select 2.0 Bottle Restage was inspired by a glass coffee cup. The lower half of the bottle has a grooved structure that ensures a secure grip. Special attention was paid to the weight, which was reduced by eight per cent through the use of recycled plastic. “The new bottle shape preserves the brand’s recognition value, but is clearly more functional and conveys a promise of quality,” said the jury.
