This work aims to raise awareness of Taiwan’s colourful minerals by creating different colour pigments. The design includes, among other things, cardboard cans showing the colour illustration of a mineral as well as two ceramic plates embedded in wooden boxes. The plates feature shallow grooves which can be filled with different paints. Inspired by the appearance of a mineral, they feature a hexagonal or octagonal shape. The hexagonal plate shows a design similar to a jigsaw puzzle, allowing users to assemble colour palettes as desired.
