Ta(l)king Down the Invisible Wall

“Diskutier Mit Mir” (Discuss with me) is a non-profit chat platform for political dialogue. On the anniversary of the day the Wall came down, this Berlin-based start-up launched this AR experience for browser-based mobile environments as a way to tackle the ongoing polarisation and expression of hate in German society. Controversial comments from the web were transferred onto life-size AR installations of the Wall. The aim was not only to show the enormous opinion blockades on both sides, but also to offer a chance to overturn these invisible walls and bring people with different views and opposing opinions into direct conversation by triggering 1:1 chats.
