The legs of the Andersen Chair are made of solid wood. At the top of each of the legs, a brass ring creates a lovely transition to the seat while at the same time protecting the wood from splitting. The sturdy, slightly curved fibre-glass seat is only around 6 mm thick and provides an extremely comfortable sitting experience by supporting the body in all the right places. The chair legs are identical in size and shape and are attached to the chair using four tapered fixtures.
