To encounter a lack of knowledge and skills in terms of cocktail mixing and in order to increase the awareness of the Diego brands, the Alexa skill “The Bar” has been developed. It helps to find cocktails, teaches how to make them and lets users order ingredients and further tools via Amazon Prime. In collaboration with award-winning mixologist Rob Poulter, a database of cocktail recipes has been created. Gamification is used to keep track of achievements, and aspiring mixologists are given suggestions for increasingly advanced cocktails or introductions to new techniques based on progress.
