This poster series uses an ironic tone to draw the public’s attention to the problem of littering. Each poster merges a photo of a cleaning utensil with graphic textures to form a new visual entity. Thus, the images represent marine animals removing dirt like a vacuum cleaner, a mop or a rubbish bin. In paradoxical beauty, the large-format motifs communicate their message at a glance. They clearly refer to the issue of pollutants and plastics ending up and accumulating in the bodies of animals, which leads to the question: who is producing this waste, and why?
