The Transformed Repository reimagines a historic warehouse in Detroit as a modern library and café. By preserving the building's industrial textures and structural framework while integrating contemporary elements — such as skylights, multifunctional seating steps, and flexible zoning — the design balances heritage with functionality to meet present-day needs. This adaptive reuse creates a space for both individual and communal learning, socialising, and exchange.
