UNEEG EpiSight generates objective seizure data over time entirely new to the treatment of epilepsy. The solution’s continuous EEG recording enables 24/7, 365 days data collection during the patient’s everyday life from the natural home environment. Such data has never previously been available. This enables physicians to detect unrevealed seizures and seizure patterns enabling optimised, faster management and possibly eventual seizure control.
UNEEG EpiSight is part of an end-to-end EEG monitoring solution. It has a discreet, modern, and non-medical look to reduce the risk of patients feeling stigmatised. It is used with the UNEEG implant, which measures the electroencephalogram (EEG). The obtained EEG data is stored on the patient externally worn recorder and transferred via an app and data transfer system to the hospital allowing physicians on-demand access to objective EEG data collected during the individual patient’s life.
The UNEEG EpiSight system consists of the UNEEG EpiSight Recorder, the UNEEG EpiSight Baseplate, the UNEEG EpiSight Charger and the UNEEG EpiSight App. With UNEEG EpiSight, patients can now receive treatments based on solid objective evidence.
