The Urbalive Worm Farm

The Urbalive Worm Farm is a simple, odourless compost system for indoors. The aim of the design was to give the ecological system an appearance which is suitable for a bioproduct and is nevertheless modern so that it integrates harmoniously into the kitchen or living room. Inside it, worms convert biological kitchen waste into compost and worm tea. Both are valuable, organic natural fertilisers for plants in the living room, on the balcony and in the garden.

Statement by the Jury

With its fresh colouration, the combination of wood and plastic, and an organic form, the Worm Farm has a timeless look and integrates well into a modern living environment.
