The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is very lightweight yet does not compromise durability. The hinges have been enhanced to allow seamless conversion from the typical clamshell to a complete lay-flat orientation. Using carbon fibre on the top cover and light magnesium alloys for the main body, the slim form factor is lightweight and strong. The keyboard and clickpad have been refined to improve productivity and usability.
