User Interface Design

Token

Token is a tactile toolkit that focuses on mutual understanding between authority figures and students during disciplinary conversations in school. It aims to foster a positive change in student behaviour and to encourage empathy within the institutional discipline system through three steps: identifying the situation and people involved, facilitating perspective-taking by using emojis and setting goals with a follow-up application. The toolkit builds a system with circles to represent places, actor tokens to represent people and emojis to represent emotion.
