Cutting Ruler

transotype

The cutting ruler transotype is made of anodised aluminium and then powder-coated in red, thus making it easy to locate, even on crowded tables. With a centimetre scale, a cutting edge and a non-slip rubber back, the ruler facilitates precise and expedient working. The cutting edge features a straight back, so that the cutter blade can be guided over the paper with precision, which enables exact cutting. It is available in lengths of 30 and 60 cm, with the larger ruler allowing A2 formats to be cut along the longitudinal plane.

Statement by the Jury

The design of transotype provides the reliability that is desired in an instrument for daily use: it does not slip and facilitates precise guiding of the blade. In addition, ruler places emphasis on aesthetics.
