U1 is an ultra-thin and minimalist smart door lock. It is made using a sophisticated yet to all appearances also technical looking mix of metal and tempered glass. The lock’s fingerprint technology, which is concealed under a screen that is dust- and waterproof as well as scratch-resistant and antistatic, results in a very distinctive user experience. Doors can be opened not only by fingerprint, but also by using a password, a sensor card, an app or a mechanical key.
