Ultra-Light Multi-Material Wrench

In the world of manual work there are many areas and work steps in which by now age-old tools such as the wrench are essential. The design of the Ultra-Light Multi-Material Wrench is an entirely new interpretation of a wrench, turning it into an elegant tool with completely new characteristics. It was developed for professional use, including for construction work on offshore oil-rigs, high-voltage pylons and the building of skyscrapers. An important aspect of its design is the novel combination of cast steel and a robust aluminium alloy, a combination that allowed the weight of the wrench to be reduced by 40 to 50 per cent. In addition, the robustness of cast steel also allows for very high torque to be applied; the wrench thus complies with stringent requirements, including the German DIN 3113 standard, and ensures safe use. The material lightness of the Ultra-Light Multi-Material Wrench is complemented by a well-proportioned and harmoniously-balanced design: it lies comfortably in the hand and its ergonomic shape reduces strain, preventing rapid fatiguing of the wrist. Another innovative aspect of this wrench is that it features a ring spanner that is functionally and convincingly integrated into the overall design. The ring spanner extends the wrench’s area of application and further adds to simplifying the processes of difficult work tasks.
