Veneer Bleed explores plywood bending, a common furniture-making technique where oversized veneer sheets are pressed into moulds and trimmed. Instead of discarding these edges, this furniture series preserves the spontaneous beauty of intersecting layers, reframing industrial flaws as celebrated imperfections. Crafted from thickened U-shaped plywood, the exaggerated wood thickness and layers highlight the tension between natural materiality and industrial processes.
