Collage graphics are the key illustrative element in the 2009 annual report by public trans-port company Verkehrsverbund Bremen/Niedersachsen. Analogous to a group made up of several member companies, a collage creates a new entity by using different elements. The graphic elements consist partially of local public transport motifs and partially of elements that visually emphasise certain text statements. The collages invite the reader to take a closer look at the themes and realise the connections between graphics and text.
