Vestaboard

Vestaboard is an intelligent messaging display whose appearance is inspired by the display boards for the arrival and departure times of trains. This modern reinterpretation has been kept completely black, and can be controlled from anywhere using a smartphone or computer, displaying messages using 132 modular character units called Bits. Bits can show white letters, numbers and symbols as well as coloured fields, allowing the board to draw attention as an eye-catching medium for a wide variety of messages, or even creative forms of expression.

This remotely controllable messaging display is fascinating, both as a means of facilitating clear and aesthetically pleasing communication and in terms of its intuitive operation.
