Vibro II (iMM155)

The Vibro II is a high-fidelity FM clock radio with iPhone and iPod connectivity. Its particular feature is a vibration system consisting of a “shaker” that is placed under the pillow. When the alarm goes off, the shaker vibrates smoothly and rhythmically, gently waking up the user. This functionality makes the clock particularly suitable for individuals with hearing impairment. The device can also play music from an iPhone, iPod or the radio.

Statement by the Jury

This clock radio convinced the jury with its novel approach to combining an alarm function with a vibration system. What was already a high level of functionality has therefore been extended even further in an innovative way.
